Zuni Sunface Cuff Bracelet
The Sunface is considered one of the creators in the Zuni culture, because the sun makes the crops grow, which in turn means survival for the people. The outer edge of the Sunface on this beautiful bracelet is inlaid with onyx, and the inner edge is set with turquoise. The face is set with turquoise, onyx, coral, and mother of pearl. The bracelet measures 5 1/4 inches tip to tip, and the entire Sunface is the size of a quarter. The artist’s name, Soseeah is stamped on the back of the piece.
Tips to order the proper fitting bracelet:
• Using a flexible tape, wrap it completely around your wrist where the bracelet is to be worn.
• Add approximately add 3/4 inch to 1 inch to the measurement, and that is the measurement that you need.
• Many bracelets are adjustable and can be bent to size, generally Navajo style work.
• Bracelets with inlaid stones cannot be opened or closed without potential damage to the stones, so you want the exact measurement needed to fit your wrist. The silver tips can be adjusted for a better fit.
